Reiki therapy is a spiritual healing practice that assists your body's energetic system with restoring balance. Your natural self-healing process initiates when the energy systems are in harmony with one another.
A balanced lifestyle can have a different meaning at different times in your life. For example, if you're always tired, you'll want to have more energy, if you're feeling uneasy, you'll want inner peace, and if you're in a place of anger or fear, then acceptance will be your successor.
There are Physical effects that occur when accompanied by deep relaxation, such as a lower heart rate and increased blood flow.
Reiki therapy can help in many situations and all areas of life when devoting your system toward a place of balance. It can also enhance you in an individual sense with your own spiritual connection that is free from religious dogma.
You will notice that the first session may bring a boost in your wellness, and this will keep increasing with repeated sessions. It's recommended that 4-5 consecutive sessions will boost the flow of Reiki and initiate your body's natural deep cleansing process.

The first session begins with a brief interview and a client intake form. You will be asked a series of questions to plan a comprehensive session/series of reiki therapy sessions for your healing needs. Please keep in mind that privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times. I subscribe to the IARP code of ethics as posted in my treatment room in Mississauga, ON.
Reiki therapy involves placing hands lightly on or above a clothed body sitting in a comfortable chair or lying face-up on a treatment table. I will complete the standard Reiki hand positions. Suppose you indicated in the interview or at the beginning of the session that you want me to pay attention to a particular pain or issue. In that case, I will also concentrate on the area during the session. The head and body are first for a regular stress reduction session, followed by the back and sometimes feet. Clients can ask for different parts of the body to be worked on or not and are encouraged to discuss this with me at the beginning of the session.
Clients are encouraged to relax during the session and inform me if anything makes them feel uncomfortable, either physically or psychologically. Please feel free to talk with me regarding feedback during the session. I will often speak with you before or after, usually not during, as I want you to reach total relaxation during the session.
